Bloomberg: Getting Started

The Bloomberg Terminal is available in room 311 on the 3rd floor of the library. All HKUST(GZ) faculty, staff, and students are welcome to visit the library to use the terminal in person.

Step1: Log in to the computer

Please note users need to that before using this database, you need to log in to the computer with your personal account. The steps are as follows:

1. Select "Other users" in the lower-left corner of the screen.
2. Please log in with your personal username and HKUST (GZ) email password.

•   For staff, the username is hkust-gz.intranet\ + Email prefix

Example: When the staff email is ABCD@hkust-gz.edu.cn, the username is hkust-gz.intranet\ABCD

•   For students, the username is connect.hkust-gz.intranet\ + Email prefix

Example: When the student email is ABCD@connect.hkust-gz.edu.cn, the username is connect.hkust-gz.intranet\ABCD

Step2: Create a Bloomberg Account
