Exploring Your Data with R

RStudio Cloud

RStudio Cloud (https://posit.cloud/) is a web-based tool of R.

The reason of using RStudio Cloud is that users are no need to have their R or RStudio installed before you come to the class, but registering an account beforehand is needed.

• Go to Google, Search for RStudio Cloud
• One of the top links will be to "RStudio Cloud"
• Register a new account and choose Posit Cloud

Download R

• Go to Google, Search for R
• One of the top links will be to "The R Project for Statisrical Computing"
• Click on CRAN (left menu)
• Select a mirror site near us, i.e. there is a mirrot site at https://mirrors.tuna.tsinghua.edu.cn/CRAN/                                      

Download RStudio

• Go to Google, Search for RStudio
• One of the top links will be to "RStudio Desktop"
• Since we have R downloaded and installed, go to Step 2 directly
• Click the Download Rstudio Deaktop tab
